Founder

Angela Wootson

Angela Wootson, with over 30 years in public education, holds degrees from Fort Valley State University and Troy State University. Her expertise spans multiple subjects and grades, empowering students from 3rd to 8th grade and beyond. Beyond teaching, Angela has served as a Graduation Coach, Instructional Coach, and Adjunct Professor, promoting academic success. Currently, she volunteers for the Read United Program and collaborates with the Houston County Department of Juvenile Justice, all while embracing her roles as a spouse, parent, and grandparent.

Tanya Allen

Tanya Allen, a dedicated leader, proudly serves as the principal of Burdell-Hunt Magnet School, bringing her passion for education to her Macon hometown. A graduate of Northeast High School and the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, Tanya remains deeply committed to her community. In addition to her role as President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Omega Omega Chapter, she actively contributes as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Macon and holds various professional memberships, exemplifying her commitment to service and excellence.

Charidee Burks

Charidee Wootson, a skilled and dedicated registered nurse, excels in her role as the Stemi Coordinator at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Her expertise and commitment ensure optimal care for patients experiencing cardiac emergencies.

Jeanette Mcelhaney

Jeanette McElhaney, a seasoned professional with a distinguished career at the Warner Robins Base, held a pivotal role as one of five managers in Information Management before retirement. Currently, she brings her wealth of experience to her position as Secretary/Treasurer for AFGE of the 5th District (C-19), where her leadership continues to make a significant impact.

Quintin Green

Dr. Quintin Bernard Green, a distinguished retired educator, boasts a rich career spanning roles as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Currently, his commitment to community service shines through his roles as a Board Member for HEA Federal Credit Union and Lamson-Richardson Heritage Preservation Park. Furthermore, he leads as the President of the Peach County GA Retired Educators, continuing to inspire and advocate for educational excellence.

Shanieki Rouse is an accomplished Property and Casualty insurance adjuster with a rich career spanning over twenty years. Throughout her tenure, she has successfully assisted thousands in reconstructing their lives following various adversities. Committed to professional growth, her primary objective is to further develop her leadership skills to more effectively mentor, guide, and motivate her team.
